1. Who we are
Creative Works is a Cairo-based production atelier of Colortek Egypt. We design and produce furniture, surfaces, and collectible objects on commission. This website — creativeworksatelier.com — presents our work and lets prospective clients contact us.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site or submit a form, why we collect it, and your rights over it. It applies to all visitors regardless of where you are located.

2. The short version
- We only collect personal information when you deliberately give it to us by submitting the Quote or Consultation form.
- We use that information to respond to your inquiry — nothing else.
- We do not sell data, we do not run advertising on this site, and we do not use tracking cookies.
- You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it at any time.
3. What personal information we collect
When you submit the Quote or Consultation form, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The project details you choose to share (project type, scope, location, budget, timeline, references)
When you simply browse the site, our analytics provider records:
- Pages you visit
- Country and city of your visit (approximate, from IP)
- Your device and browser type
- The page that referred you to our site
This browsing data is anonymized and aggregated. It does not identify you personally, does not use cookies, and is not linked back to any form you later submit.
4. How we collect it
Two channels only:
- Forms: The Quote and Consultation forms are processed by Formspree, Inc. (a US-based form service), which receives your submission and forwards it to us by email.
- Analytics: Visit-level data is collected by Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint individual users.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, pixels, retargeting tools, or social media tracking.
5. Why we collect it
We use your personal information only to:
- Respond to your project inquiry
- Prepare quotes, proposals, or follow-up discussions you have requested
- Maintain records of our professional communications
Our legal basis for processing is your consent (you chose to submit the form) and our legitimate interest in operating a design practice.
We do not use your information for marketing emails, newsletters, profiling, or automated decision-making.
6. Who we share it with
Your personal information is shared only with the service providers who help us operate:
- Formspree, Inc. (USA) — processes form submissions and forwards them to us.
- Microsoft 365 / Outlook — our email provider; your inquiry email is stored in our Outlook inboxes.
- Vercel, Inc. (USA) — hosts the website and provides cookieless analytics.
- Google LLC (USA) — provides the typefaces displayed on the site; your browser contacts Google to download them, which exposes your IP address to Google.
We do not share your information with any other third party. We do not sell data to anyone.
7. International data transfers
Because Formspree, Vercel, and Google operate from the United States, your form submission and some browsing data will be transferred outside Egypt and processed in the US. These providers maintain internationally recognized data protection standards. You can review their privacy policies here:
8. How long we keep your information
- Form submissions: retained in our email inbox for as long as the project relationship is active, plus up to 3 years after the last contact for record-keeping. Earlier deletion on request.
- Analytics data: retained in anonymized, aggregated form by Vercel for up to 12 months.
9. Your rights
Under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (where applicable), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Delete your information from our records
- Object to or restrict our processing
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at design@colortekegypt.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Center or, if you are in the EU, with your local data protection authority.
10. How we protect your information
- All connections to our site use HTTPS encryption.
- Formspree stores submissions on encrypted servers.
- Our Outlook email accounts are protected by multi-factor authentication.
- Only members of the Creative Works studio can read your inquiry.
11. Cookies
This site does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. We do not require a cookie consent banner because our analytics provider is cookieless by design.
Your browser may cache technical data (session state, fonts) locally, but we do not place, read, or share cookies.
12. Children's information
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. For material changes affecting how we use personal information, we will notify affected users by email where feasible.

15. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo.
